The people of Honduras are pleading for media fairness and understanding of how they saved their democratic system of government from an international conspiracy based in Venezuela and Cuba. In desperate messages to the outside world, Hondurans want America to know they do not want former President Manuel "Mel" Zelaya returned to power through the intervention of the United States and the United Nations.
On Tuesday the leftist governments of Barack Obama and Hugo Chavez sponsored a United Nations resolution that condemned the people of Honduras for resisting the spread of communism by evicting a would-be dictator. Many people in Honduras view "Mel" as a puppet of Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, who is destroying the democratic system and the opposition in that country.
In Honduras, demonstrators have appealed to the media to tell the truth. One sign said in Spanish: "CNN: That the entire world opens its eyes...Honduras wants peace not a dictatorship."
Our media are content to report on the turnout of a couple hundred pro-Zelaya protesters in Honduras, ignoring the many thousands that have demonstrated in support of what their government has done. Some of the demonstrators carried signs saying, "Peace and democracy. Out with Mel and Chavez." Others said, "Democracy yes; communism no."

It seems that the Kenyan is a rabid traitor.
He said not a word for the women protesting for their freedom in Iran. What a piece of garbage is the Kenyan.
If Obama orders our military to back up Chavez’s military against the Honduran troops, I hope and pray our guys refuse - or at least let the Hondurans win.
The Hondurans better understand that if they depend on The Obama and his state run media for help, they are doomed.
A friend told me today that he feels like the world has been turned upside down. That all the things he believed in are being trashed and replaced.
If Zero attempts to send the American military to Honduras we need to demonstrate against that..who in our military will take up arms against a democracy defending itself. None I hope.
Today we live in a country that can elect obama as Prez and al franken as a senator. There is every reason to believe that in 8 to 12 years, an American Hugo Chavez clone can win the presidency— if you just look at the demographics involved. This is not an exxageration.
Globalism
I have a sudden craving for Honduran bananas, coffee and cigars.
.
Viva Honduras! Viva libertad!
I bet that eventually we send UN troops to re-install Zelaya and cancel the Constitution there.
Look up, this has already happened. He is in Washington now and he is our Leader.
Come to Honduras! We welcome you! Bring flags! Bring also Dr. Pepper. =) We know many people are illegal in yoru country, but if many do not know, the CIA helped wrong man in war and we end up with many people we help from El Salvador and Nicaragua which are much poorer than Honduras and Costa Rica. We are not Mexicans, we fight for our country. We have visas to come and work. Many Americans work here. If you American stay over visa we charge 10 cent a day. People come to our country and love it we love them back, it makes us more poor, but it is right that they fall in love with Honduras, then they not vote for Chavez puppet. They here to be free and work, everyman has right to be free and work for good life, and you say ‘cigars and bananas’. We have mango tree and lemon tree and corn and chickens and all fruits and much, much seafood here in new farms, very good shrimp.
