Reagan was by no means an “abortion supporter”. However he was in a similar situation with Romney in that he did what he could in a very liberal state which is what I was trying to argue. National Review has a pretty good article about the soul searching Reagan went through before signing the bill knowing that if he didn’t sign it his veto would be overridden. To Regan’s credit he did try to alter the bill before signing it. Like I said, he did what he could.

Reagan was never an abortion supporter and Romney was a lifelong pro abortion crusader, passionately campaigning for “pro-choice” and even working with Planned Parenthood to raise abortion funds for them.
Romney was an adult, a son of a presidential candidate father and a senatorial candidate mother when Roe Wade happened.
Romney stayed pro abortion during those years and during the Reagan years and during the Gingrich years, through all of the abortion wars of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and the first half of the 2000s, Romney was an effective spokesman for abortion “rights”, in preparation for his national campaign Romney suddenly claimed that an epiphany turned him pro-life, an epiphany based on a conversation with a researcher that says that it never happened.
Funny, you said this in post 43:
I did and I did it despite the fact that he once supported abortion.
What a two-faced weasel. You change your own claims IN THE SAME THREAD.
So, Deb, you still think rhombus 'shot me in the ass?' - more like he just shot himself in the foot.
