You fail to understand Mitt is the clear favorite and it is his turn.

The Country Club Elite Republicans (and their sycophants here on FR) have said so, and we need to take our little ignorant asses and our ignorant trailer park candidate back to the house.

Our betters have spoken.

LOL...

Next, they will say that y'all should vote for their boy, because you have nowhere else to go! (not /sarc)

An unpopular Obama vs Romney would leave a lot of room for a 3rd party canddate. If there was a year someone could duplicate Ross Perot, it is 2012. You are going to have disillusioned leftists, centrists AND rightists.

You can run on just 1 or 2 issues based on the economy.

Now, who that would be? I have no idea. I’m not endorsing any of these, just looking at who has name recognition to give it a go. If Jesse Ventura had not gone so far down the 9/11 rabbit hole he would have a chance..though he isn’t an economic guy. Bloomberg is a joke. Ron Paul is too old now. Not sure who fits the bill.

We may be entering a time where a person like a Donald Trump or Mark Cuban or Steve Wynn or Vince McMahon or some other half celeb/half businessman could make a run at getting 33%. I think this time around it has to be a “celeb businessman” or a business man with a lot of personality. Just an actor or known person with no economic knowledge can’t pull it off this time around, maybe in the future. Trump wouldn’t withstand actual scrutiny of his finances or personal life, but he has the kind of wide name recognition that would work. Again this isn’t who I would LIKE to see, just who could pull it off.

Creating a 3 way race dynamic vs an unpopular President and an uninspiring 2nd party candidate wouldn’t be out of the question. Especially if we are in a legit depression...there will only be one issue..the economy. I’m sure I am forgetting someone.
