The bill is worth study for the purpose of ridiculing the House, but not with an eye toward influencing the Senate. The Senate is more likely to either pass its own bill (lock stock and barrel substitute amendment to the House-passed thing), or ignore the bill altogether, than it is to pick up what the House passed and piecemeal amend it. The Senate is totally unresponsive to the will of the people. It's basically an expensive freak show.
As far as studying the bill goes, I've found that certain statutory "chunks" tend to reappear in multiple bills, until eventual passage. This process can take years (see Matthew Shepherd hate crimes for an example).
Wait until Federal House Inspectors descend upon every home owner to tell the owner how much he can sell his house for. Popcorn time!
How will he/she sell when no one will have any money? Or by then, a job?
Just keep reminding the idiots this is what they voted for on November 4, 2008. That is what I do .
Ping...
To many stupid Americans who do not know this is an energy tax that will destroy our country’s economy and the leftist communist politicians know it (they are so violent and brazen but most fool democrat voters don’t.
“How will he/she sell when no one will have any money?
Or by then, a job?”
Why that is the beauty of Obomanomics.
No job but a “cheap” mortgage to keep you in your house.
Of course no jobs isn’t a problem because companies won’t be able to afford employees.
I know, it’s sounds odd but that’s Obamanomics.
It’s lunacy!
Guess we’ll just have to throw MORE MOENY at the problem.
It’s hard to listen or read the news.
It’s totally INSANE.
It pains me to literally see our economy being destroyed -
LITERALLY DESTROYED for no rational reason.
We WILL be a third world country.
That was one of my major concerns, so I contacted the National Association of Realtors. Their website alleged that they lobbied to prevent the bill from including existing homes. I emailed them and I was directed by a member of the NAR to page 392 of the act, which indicates that nothing in that section on building energy standards applies to existing homes, only homes built after enactment.
Evidently, we are just fear mongerers. LOL.
later - look for abortion funding

The Senators won’t read it. They’ll just vote for it.
hmmm...I just did and had no trouble. I can send you the .pdf if you want.
I'll try again....maybe it's just another senior moment...{:-(
