I’ve got a bigger problem than “lists being public for scrutiny” (he voluntarily made it public). Same concern that came up when authorities sought records from some bookstore chain over a book that Monica had claimed to have bought (mentioned in one of the phone calls).
IF bookstores didn’t KEEP records for their OWN nosey business about your buying habits, then there would be no database or record of the transaction for government to request.
After the crucifixion of Joe The Plumber by members of the Shadow Government, who abused the powers of their unelected offices to peruse private records to leak “scandalous” details of a citizen’s life, I want to live off the grid.
Amazon not only keeps tabs on what you have bought, they keep a list of what you’ve searched for and what you’ve looked at.
