My theories in order of likelihood:
1) Lefty punks having fun
2) Coordinated lefties setting up discord and misinfo to distract and make the whole BC business seem ludicrous. (similar to API’s michelle tapes).
3) Righty punks who can’t stand the “birthers”
4) Something semi-legit

The fact that Ogabe has scrubed all or most of his records would lead me away from the idea lefties are trying to punk birthers. Any publicity about Obama’s lack of a Birth Certificate would seem counter productive to their cause. Why would they risk the lamestream media picking this up and informing the masses of asses that Obama is not a NBC and therefore ineligible to be POTUS?

Yes...your number two option particularly-—designed to draw out Rush and others to finally mention the bc...then WHAMO...blow the whole thing up as a complete fraud, designed to expose the rightwing ‘fools’ that are trying to destroy this “great progressive president”-—thus dinging the whole bc issue while nailing Rush’s credibility at the same time.

The Obama operatives HAVE to do something..the bc issue is heating up. No doubt they want to deep six it permanently-—this could be a layered mindgame ( they are chicago mobsters after all) to do just that and take down the growing voices (Rush, Levin et al) at the same time.
