CNN, the network that invented 24-hour news, for the first time in its history has finished in third place in weeknight prime-time cable news ratings.
The Atlanta-based channel was surpassed by MSNBC in Monday-Friday prime-time ratings during the most recent quarter, according to the TV ratings service Nielsen, and it continued to lose ground in the 8-11 p.m. slot to No. 1 Fox News Channel.

As much as I dislike their Leftist slanting, they are much better IMO, than PMSDNC. And I must grudgingly admit they did a a fairly good bit of reporting on the Iran election protests, until MJs death.
Yeah, but why are people tuning to MSNBC over CNN. As bad as CNN is, compared to MSNBC, CNN is actually a fairly reputable news reporting channel.
What, do they think MSNBC is a new comedy channel?
If I had a choice between CNN and MSBHO, I would take CNN any old time.

Well, Olbermann has more comedy value than Campbell Brown, but neither could be considered “news”. Snotty Rachel Madcow just blows. She can’t even beat Larry King.
Notice she hasn’t been on the air since then. And now she has returned and is covering Michael Jackson’s house in Encino. It made me laugh. She did not look thrilled to be there.
The only people watching CNN are all of Larry King's ex-wives and Anderson Cooper's bath-house partners. Not a small crowd, but smaller than MSNBC.
Noticed tonight in tuning through MSNBC that while the news readeress was giving her summary of several stories there was a little flag on the screen beneath her which read “MS. Information”, which I read as “Misinformation” - at least they’re honest about their journalistic integrity.....
It only makes sense. They have for a while been facing Fox across the field, but now they’ve been out-lib-ed by MSNBC in a flanking maneuver. Why bother watching the middle network?
LOL! I think I read she took a ‘sabbatical’ after her Tea Party meltdown. CNN must have been weary of all the ‘fan mail’ they were getting on it, especially after it was revealed that Fox News snubbed her for a position.
I've noticed that just about every anchor on CNN is Black. I wonder if that has anything to so with declining viewership?
CNN Anchor: “We take you now to reporter Susan Roesgen, on the streets of Chicago...”
Roesgen: “I’m here with a teeming crowd of whiny, mushy-brained retards; I warn our audience that this is not exactly family viewing...Excuse me, sir, what is your business here? Why are you tying up sidewalk traffic?”
Random Citizen: “Uh, I see what’s happening to this country, and to my son, here, his future. And, you know, this is the Land Of Lincoln, and Lincoln believed in freedom...”
Roesgen: “What does this have to do with taxes? Shut up for a second, sir. I appologize to our viewers, I can’t even follow what he’s saying. Was it something about hating black people?”
Random: “No, I was talking about Lincoln, who freed black people...”
Roesgen: “There it is again, black people, just like Obama. Who, don’t you know, has promised every American 50 bucks cash, plus a chicken in every pot. In the city of Chicago alone, there will be two MRI machines, and the official ER will be open two hours a week once healthcare reform passes...”
Random: “Yeah, but...”
Roesgen: “Shut up...did you know that Lincoln, your beloved Lincoln, didn’t believe in miscegenation, and that he, your male lover, instituted the nation’s first income tax? Also, he waged a war on civilians in the South comparable to Hitler’s invasion of Russia...”
Random: “I don’t think...”
Roesgen: “Ugh, I give up. I’m out of here, before one of these people touches me. Good luck, losers. Hail Obama!”
Anchor: “Hail Obama, Susan...Coming up, national protest movement has funny sexual name. Anderson Cooper talks about it. This is CNN.”

I cannot believe that the AJC Fishwrapper (Communist Daily Worker) even reported this. They are ratting out their own leftist comrades.
