Are the unions exempt to taxing health benefits. We definitely need to know that. And we definiety need to keep an updated list of EVERY tax that Obama increases.

Medical premimums are already tax free meaning with most companies they tax your income after they deduct your premimums which lowers your overall total tax
I wonder if they intend to remove that tax break or actually impose a new tax on the value of your total premimum which in many cases is covered in part by your company
If the latter say goodbye to many medical plans as both employess and employers can not afford to pay
It’s the latter, and it’s what Obama beat McCain over the head with in the ‘08 campaign. McCain was actually too honest about paying for this stupid plan, and ObLiar killed him with it. My own mother used this as her reason to vote against McCain.
The RNC should be fighting this tooth and nail. They should replay all those campaign ads that Barry ran against McCain, and they should replay Zer0 saying that he would not raise any taxes on those making less than $250K. Play it every day and make sure every congress-critter up for reelection has those same ads played in their district.
He hasn’t done it yet. Let his own supporters turn on him like the Republicans did with Bush the Elder.
Problem is they won't turn on him. BamBam could announce that we all live in Pepperland and that the Blue Meanies will kill us unless we pass cap-and-tax and the Kool-Aid drinking supporters would believe it.

YES, that was posted here yesterday. Today, they also said they could not rule out that we would NOT be able to keep the health care we have now. Time for the torches and pitchforks.

Would all elected government officials/workers be exempt too?...I’m sure CongressCritters will make sure they aren’t taxed on their benefits. But, Nancy won’t let the public see the bill until after it’s voted on, so who the hell knows?
