BUMP As a Washington state resident I also remember very well that Reichert's first vote out of the box was to go against President Bush as he voted to allow the state to MURDER a young woman, Terry Schiavo, by refusing to give her food and water until she was dead. A young woman whose parents wanted desperately to care for her, were willing to pay for the care, but whose "living" husband "guardian" was living with another woman in their family home.

Not only was that Dave's first vote, he actually took the time to fly back to DC to cast it.

It is my understanding that Reichert's record is a 40% vote with the Republicans, and 60% with the Democrats. That cannot be termed a "friend" even by Ronald Reagan's big tent philosophy.

No, for me the line is liberty and tyranny. You are either fighting FOR liberty, or you are enabling the other, if not actively pushing enslavement. And how could Reichert have voted with good conscience on a bill which he did not READ? It's over Dave. (And this is from someone who knows you, liked you, had hopes for you, and made campaign donations.) What a sad waste.

Now, my sincere question is" "When did Reichert plan on changing parties?"
