This makes me wonder if they will also turn control of America over to Americans?
Ozero’s supporters will believe (Fill in the blank).
Doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not.
Oh, you were talking about the media weren’t you?
Thank you Allegra
This is just one of many examples of the dishonesty in the reporting of most of the MSM. It is very hard to get the truth out there with obama and gang and their enablers in the media.
...”Obama: We have turned over control to Iraq”...
Who is this “we”, Obama? You did nothing but criticize and undermine from the sidelines prior to stealing the election, disavowing everything that had to do with Iraq except hoping we lose, now it’s “we”??? You had nothing to do with the success of the venture, now you take credit?
Hypocrite.
Amazing coincidence in our posts....
And considering that we are rid of those four, that alone made the world safer for hundreds if not thousands of freedom loving people.
I suspect deep down inside theOne has aspirations to be lifetime king here so he is sympathetic.
One of the obstacles the troops Obozo congratulated overcame was Il Douche himself.
Kind of how a parent feels when your kid leaves the nest.
After living under Hussein, then having to worry about looking like the bad guy to a foreigner, I would celebrate for one day, too, with my face to the floor at the beginning and the end, praying to God for guidance. I remember one time in the Old Testament God told the Israelites to celebrate for a week, then get back to work.
“Iraq’s future is in the hands of its own people.”
Thanks to our awesome military folks. No thanks whatsoever to the narcissist in chief and his turncoat buddies in the Democratic party.
Be sure to send Bush a ‘Thank you’ card Barry....
Thanks for giving us the facts on the ground there. Guess it made a better story the other way.

I give it 3 months.....6 months tops before it all becomes a killing field again. I just hope our troops dont get caught in the middle.

I FIRMLY Disagree with you. I don’t believe you have any concept of what has occurred over the last 5 years in Iraq.
Pretty much the whole process has gone as planned in a strategic sense- in fact, I believe that the numbers of security forces in Iraq is now almost precisely what the Bush administration was projecting to be needed, and was working on training from day one. (Somewhere in my archives I have their initial projections.) Tactically, there have been some setbacks and learning needed (ending the capture and release of towns to be recaptured by terrorists again, IEDs from Iran, etc.) and evolving enemy tactics have had to be overcome, but that is normal in wartime. The PEOPLE of Iraq are firmly in the freedom camp now, and will not relinquish control to those terrorists again.
Bush’s fault, thank God!
Time will tell. I stick by my opinion. It’s futile to try and teach radicals to be civilized, unless you perpetually remain in a position of power and control over them which our commie in chief will not allow. I hope you are right, but I’m not betting the house it will happen.
I have personally known and befriended over 20 Iraqis over the years, as far back as 1974 and as recently as 1999 (I even knew one of the leading candidates for president of Iraq). They are very different from the Saudi area Arabs at heart (as are Iranians) very forward looking economically and democratically, as a people. They were sorely oppressed by the Hussein regime, and only his brutal and efficient state police forces kept him in power. People were forced to “play ball” with him with their families’ lives held hostage. It took a while for the population to come to trust that he was finally gone for good, but that is no longer true. I am very confident about my evaluation that they will do fine now (similar to Jordan) as long as we don’t abandon them if Syria/Iran attack them.
Aye. There's the rub. Obama. Still, I hope you are correct, but Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds all playing nicely together, I'll have to see it to believe it.
