SAN'A, Yemen A passenger jet from Yemen with 153 people on board crashed in the Indian Ocean early Tuesday as it tried to land during heavy wind on the island nation of Comoros, a Yemeni aviation official said.
A Comoros police official said one toddler has been rescued alive from the sea. Bodies were spotted floating in the ocean and the police official said three had been recovered so far

Its happened before but not at sea. The plane that crashed in detroit back in the 80s was one of the nation’s worst and one toddler made it out alive.

Not just the rough weather, but also the wake from the jet in front of it (viz, Long Island crash that tore off the tail).

Flight 255 crashed shortly after takeoff at detroit metro in 87 and basically went under the overpass on Middlebelt road.

If I recall correctly...didn't the French President, condemn Muslim, head coverings, as unacceptable in France...2 French built Airbus crashes of late.....have to wonder just a little....??

Not just the rough weather, but also the wake from the jet in front of it (viz, Long Island crash that tore off the tail).
Not this **** again. Look up 'futter' and the read up on where they found the trim tab and the rudder and then the tail. Then go read the NTSB report. The wake of the other jet did not cause it. If you can't be bothered to post facts don't post.

Well, 98% of Comoros is Sunni Muslim (Al Qaeda is Sunni Muslim) and the other 2% are Roman Catholic. I wouldn't be surprised, but then again, 90% of the Muslims in the world are Sunni.

France 'banned Yemen crash plane' snip - Dominique Bussereau told parliament of ongoing concerns about the safety record of the Yemenia Airbus 310.
Snip - In Paris, Mr Bussereau told legislators that the Yemenia Airbus 310 which crashed was not permitted to fly into France.
Snip - "A few years ago, we banned this plane from national territory because we believed it presented a certain number of irregularities in its technical equipment," Mr Bussereau told parliament.
