As the summer begins, White House watchers have spotted a new look by President Obama: The Evil Eye!
Staffers have joked about the menacing glance, which comes when the president meets with world leaders who are not aligned with his progressive view.
White House photographers have captured the "evil eye" in recent weeks, during sessions with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Colombia's Alvaro Uribev.
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi got hit with the commander's malocchio last week in the Oval office.
And at least one White House reporter has been on the receiving end of the daggers during a press conference.

“Progressive view” — Man, I hate that term. Progress? Progressing toward what, total collapse? Progressives are “progressing” through their agenda in the same way that food progresses through a body.
I agree but recently I hit the thought that "that" leader only needs to do enough to gain incremental power and too much disclosure and smoothness would tip off those of us on the look out.

The Jewish Chamsa as a home decor piece hung on a wall, is a very common ornament in many Middle Eastern countries including Morocco, Israel, Egypt, Jordan and others.

The symbol is used in Hamsa amulets, Hamsa charms, Hamsa jewelry, Hamsa pendants door entrances, cars, and other places to ward off the Evil Eye. The Chamsa's (from the semite root meaning five) includes five digits and symbolizes the god's protective hand. Five is by itself a number which is associated with protection. In the Sephardic household the symbol of a fish is also used to repel the eye and originates from the Talmud. According to some of the writing it is believed that fish are immune from the evil eye because they are under water making them effective amulets.
In Israel and in Jewish culture globally it is most commonly known as "Hamsa" or "Chamsa", without any Islamic heritage connotations.
