So, as it turns out, U.S. President Barack Obama is not "God" when it comes to dealing with the Islamic world, after all.
This, contrary to that gushingly inane description of him by Newsweek editor-at-large Evan Thomas, following Obama's June 4 speech in Cairo, seeking reconciliation with Muslims.
Unfortunately, just eight days after giving that speech, Obama was confronted by Iran's deadly crushing of citizen protests over an election now widely seen both inside and outside Iran as hopelessly corrupt.
This would be the same Iran Obama had just finished telling the world in Cairo he was prepared to work with in the pursuit of peace and that he literally walked on on eggshells not to offend.

The world has begun to see him (Obama)as he is, yet we have millions of morons here in the US that fail to open their eyes....
A woman that I work with is an obama kool aid drinker to the nth degree. To give you an idea about just how completely despicable and ignorant this woman is I should point out that last week, while having a conversation with her and another co-worker, Franklin Delano Roosevelt's name came up and she was left with a blank look on her face. When my co-worker asked her if she knew who he was, she tried to play it off for a moment before replying "he's a captain". I kid you not.
Anyway, this same person has, at various times, shown that she is completely (as in never even heard of) ignorant as to who Kim Jong Il is, the situation happening in Iran, and who Hugo Chavez is yet invariably winds up declaring that "obama will take care of it". Therein lies the problem. With an electorate as ignorant/stupid as this the US is going to get exactly what it deserves. God help us.

I had the same encounter with a person who worked for the State of CA, Dept of AG. It was mind boggling to even attempt to understand her logic.
And so now we ALL pay the price.
