We do not owe a thing to Obama for pulling the troops out. The troops are what made this celebration possible. They overthrew the Saddam regime.
God bless the troops and God bless the Iraqi citizens. And we owe not an apology to anyone, regardless of what our spineless current President says. We owe an apology to NO ONE. What I will say to the people of Baghdad tonight - is "You're welcome". And it would not have been possible if not for the United States Military.

“...And it would not have been possible if not for the United States Military....”
Ad the leadership of former presidnt George W. Bush.
Can’t forget that.
We won’t let the doorknob hit us either.
But enjoy your freedom and defend it.
Aye.
Cheer up, Waleed. You want fireworks, you'll get your fill soon enough, you ungrateful wretch.
We will be back in Iraq; the terrorists are not completely defeated.
I am sorry for the people of Iraq...we are leaving them too soon. I think they know that, too.
Me, too. 0 owns this abandonment.
I agree 100%.
I’m a pretty big news junkie and help me out here, has president McTepid made any statements of pride concerning the U.S. Military today regarding this handover? Maybe he has and I missed it or will in the coming days, he better! If not I’ll be convinced ince and for all he hates the troops. Actually forget it, I already know that.
Forever mired in islam. They havent a chance. They will terrorize, massacre, repress each other until kingdom come.
Will the MSM recognize Victory?
My thoughts about this, too. I've got a bad feeling in my gut about this.
Our awesome military have busted their hineys to help get the Iraqi security forces ready for this, but that's not something you can rush. I hope there are enough ready if this move backfires.
The withdrawal, required under a U.S.-Iraqi security pact, marks the first major step toward withdrawing all American forces from the country by Dec. 31, 2011. Obama has said all combat troops will be gone by the end of August 2010.
Sheer stupidity. we need to maintain a forward presence.
There was a time when we would celebrate our troops’ victory upon their returning home, and of course the Commander in Chief would lead the celebration.
But now we have a President who is ashamed to look the troops in the eye because he knows this premature withdrawal will only endanger their costly progress.
These troops are going to come home to no mention of victory, no celebration, no mention of their return on the news, and no jobs.
Madness.
I guess we’ll see what kind of backbone the people of IRAQ have.
Will the Iraqi’s stand up and defend themselves and the incredible gift of freedom and self determination we “Mostly Republicans” and our incredible men and women of the military have given them?
OR?
Will the Iraqi men cower in the corner and suck their thumbs as the radical Muslims try to reassert their torturous hardline rule over the Iraqi nation again.
If the Iraqi’s let this fail, I will forever have no respect for those people.
This was their chance.
My advice, DO NOT SCREW IT UP!!!

A huge victory for our Troops and President George W Bush!
