Obama's FCC pick happens to be daughter of key House Democrat Clyburn

Last year South Carolina Rep. James E. Clyburn was expected to stay neutral in the long, bitter Democratic presidential primary struggle between Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama.

An influential endorsement from Clyburn, a civil rights hero and top member of the House Democratic leadership, would have been welcomed by former President Clinton, who worked closely with him in the 1990s and thought they were close friends.

BO seems to be getting more and more confident each day that he can do what ever he wants. Fire AG’s investigating his friends, hide EPA reports that could harm his Gorebull warming scam, and political appointees that are paybacks. Not to mention paybacks to the auto workers union and acorn.

Remember Michael Powell? Son of General Colin Powell? Michael was named to the FCC under Bill Clinton, and then named FCC Chairman under Pres Bush. Michael Powell came to the front pages when he had to address the issue of Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” during the Superbowl in 2004.

So, what’s the point? Let’s not complain too much because both parties seem to use this FCC post as a political favor.

Yup. And those in the industry said he didn’t know s..t from Shinola. The FCC, once a bastion of well-educated electrical engineers, now is for the most part filled with lawyers and accountants focused on enriching the government’s coffers. No change with this latest political turkey.

"Good grief...."....Charlie Brown!
Zero will reward as many of his friends as he possibly can get away with. Expect a huge deficiency in major federal functions as time goes by as more clowns are given positions of power.

James Clyburn has believed for some years now that the old master-slave relationship in South Carolina has been reversed, and that politically empowered blacks are now the rulers over outnumbered hapless white voters.

The “James C. Clyburn Memorial Overpass” which confronts any Interstate traveler into the capital city, or the infamous “Bridge to Nowhere” in the eastern Lowcountry, are mute evidence to Clyburn’s localized megalomania.

In all fairness, he probably wanted to find someone guilty of tax evasion, and had already hired them all for other positions.
