A horde of union members gathered on Capitol Hill on Thursday demanding that a government-backed insurance program be included in healthcare reform legislation.

At a rally fronted by former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, representatives from liberal groups and organized labor said a bill that does not include a public insurance plan would not be true reform...

Success on healthcare reform is a must for Democrats, Dean told The Hill. “I think it’s going to be a catastrophic problem for the Democratic Party if they can’t get this bill out.”

Can you smell the fear?? 2010 and 2012 is coming, and they KNOW they are going to be LOSERS after all the wrong the democrats have done to America since January 20th!!

I'm hearing more and more news stories from members of both parties that this bill doesn't stand a chance in the Senate--from them to God's ears!

Heard today that Obama, et al, are putting into the bill, a section which provides that UNION MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE THEIR MEDICAL BENEFITS TAXED!!! While all the rest of Americans DO!! How about that for OBAMA PAYBACK TIME!!!

As if what he did for the unions in MoTown was not enough. Now he is working hard to all ALL UNIONS, especially including the GOVERNMENT WORKERS unions, to his VOTER ARMY!!!

Tell me this guy is not POWER MAD and does not care who and what he destroys to get his ABSOLUTE empowerment....

Yes, it is crazy. But remember this is about two things: payback (about $60 MILLION) contributed to his election, and keeping the UNION VOTE on the farm.

It is about nothing else. Obama is only about Obama.

When the Insurance companies that administer the Union health plans go out of business the union members can sit and wait for care with the rest of us. Maybe the union members think that there will be a "special" Obama care for them.
