One can't travel I-10 from Houston to San Antonio without spotting a windmill transport.....

Some of those are carrying replacement blades for blades that have broken off. Fiberglass might be one of the lightest materials for the job, but it tends to crack and split under the stresses involved. YIKES.

AND those blades are made in China. No wonder they need replacing. Is fiberglass an oil based material?
