His hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds believed to be the result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given three times a day for years.
And a mass of surgery scars were thought to be the legacy of at least 13 cosmetic operations.
The examination showed the 5ft 10in star once famed for his on-stage athleticism had:
PLUNGED to a severely emaciated 8st 1oz. It is understood anorexic Jackson had been eating just one meagre meal a day.
Pathologists found his stomach empty aside from partially-dissolved pills he took before the painkiller injection which stopped his heart.
LOST virtually all his hair. The pop pin-up was wearing a wig when he died and pathologists said little more than peach fuzz covered his scalp.
A scarred section of skin above his left ear was entirely bald apparently the result of a 1984 accident when his hair caught fire as he filmed an ad for Pepsi.
SUFFERED several broken ribs as frantic rescuers pumped his chest after he collapsed in cardiac arrest. Four injection sites were found above or near to Jackos heart.
All appeared to result from attempts to pump adrenaline directly into the organ in a failed bit to restart it.
Three of the injections had penetrated the heart wall causing damage but a fourth missed and hit one of the 50-year-old stars ribs.
The autopsy also found unexplained BRUISING on Jacksons knees and on the fronts of both shins. And there were CUTS on his back, indicating a recent fall.
The King of Pops once handsome face bore a network of plastic surgery scars, while the bridge to his nose had vanished and its right side had partially collapsed

I am thinking if you saw him on the street without make-up and in normal clothing with his natural hair - no one would recognize him...
To quote Jonah Goldberg - it is not Jackson’s death that is tragic, but his life....
Why is it that rich people are SO wierd sometimes?
Poor guy. May God give him peace.
All he was really missing was the jars of urine and Katherine Hepburn. But, he did have Elizabeth Taylor, so it’s probably a wash.
Fame and Fortune rides a Dark Horse
Does anyone think that the 1984 accident when his hair caught fire could have been when he started down his path of wierdness?
Everything has it’s price...
CA....
5’10”, 112 lbs. Yikes!
Not only wouldn’t they recognize him, they’d scream in horror. But I have another question. How on earth did he get insured for this concert? Everything I’ve read said that his physical for insurance found him in perfect health. What the hell? why isn’t ANYONE talking about the Nation of Islam?
*Yawn*
It’s not just rich people..it’s the fame..it’s the sycophants..it’s nobody ever telling you the truth...That’s why he said he liked children..because they were the only ones who were honest with him. Think about how sad that is. And I believe it. He wanted to be loved...he just had no idea what love was.
I agree.
I think he was probably on the wierdo train well before that accident. But, I think the pain from that ordeal was the gateway to his addiction that would plague him the rest of his life, and that would finally take his life.
Of course, his proclivities for young boys probably was the impetus for much of his drug and alcohol problem as well.
Yes, PGR. Jonah’s piece was so spot on....
May he rest in God’s peace. He was a tormented soul.
I’ve never yet heard his father respond to the brutality and verbal abuse he administered to his son, whose fame and FORTUNE he now reminds us is naturally entitled to grow in death .. to bring him more loot.
I have a feeling Joe Jackson is a mean backwoods charlatan and manipulator. Figures he’d have Jesse and Al advising him.
The dollar signs are dancing in everyone’s heads.
Could be. He could have started the pain meds after the fire and got addicted to them afterwords for a long time.
But when MJ goes down that path, it’s called, “Tragic.”
When Rush Limbaugh goes down that same path, he’s a drug addict, pill-popping criminal.
*shakes head*
Wasn’t the Nation of Islam backing him?
