The presidency wasn't bought and paid for, and saying stuff like that plays into the hands of the idiots pushing campaign finance "reform"idiots like McQueeg, I'll point out, whose fundraising numbers might have been just a little more competitive if he hadn't gone with public financing. There's little evidence that advertising in general works, even less that political advertising workspeople just tune it out. What's screwed up about our system is that our media's Party loyalty would have made the editors of Pravda blush.
