Candidate Palin has character problem

That's why it was so refreshing when Sarah Palin, a woman who had stood up against corruption in the Murkowski administration, made openness and transparency in state government a central theme in her 2006 campaign for governor. In November 2006 Palin defeated Murkowski.
As Palin's first Juneau press conference as governor was breaking up, she called my wife and me aside. With apparent sincerity she asked us why we had had so much trouble getting public records from previous governors: "Why wouldn't they want you to have the full story about what they were doing?" It struck me at the time as both naive and refreshing.
Two weeks later I discovered a memorandum from a senior state attorney revealing that a top Palin aide had instructed him to keep documents secret from our newsletter even if the legal basis for doing so was weak or problematic. A few weeks after that, Meghan Stapleton, Palin's then-press secretary, told me they were keeping the documents secret because they public might misunderstand them.
Since then Palin has become the most secretive governor in Alaska's history. This month she refused to release even her official schedule or reveal when she is leaving the state. Questions from reporters are often simply ignored, or she answers a different question than the one asked. All the while she continues to mouth the claim that her administration is "open and transparent."
When it comes to letting the public know what her government is doing, Sarah Palin is either a cynical hypocrite or delusional. Either way, it reveals something important about her character.

Or - it reveals that it's none of your damn business.

WE HAVE A WINNA!
I see I have a phone call to make tomorrow.
Some serious journalistic language he/she has going ,(facts, not feeeelings).
Why the hell should she give these lunatics her travel schedule? They follow her to the bathroom, among other things. What a disturbing bunch.
Was it just me or did all of his qualms have to do merely with not answering questions and not saying where she was going? He didn’t mention any actual document that was withheld.
The left FEARS Palin because she has ten times the charisma of Obama, PLUS tons of SUBSTANCE!
The left knows many people vote for charisma, and some of us even vote for substance. :)
Some more BS from the ADN I see. Wow, what a surprise. Don’t worry ADN she will win again if she runs for governor, count on it.

Legitimate birth-check. No terrorist ties-check. No communist parents-check. Partner does not have a huge butt-check. Was never a community organizer-check.
I’d say she has it together pretty good.
Do newspapers really wonder why they can’t sell more copies?
Devoid of facts, full of innuendo. How about the original author delving into a real issue say... THE MISSING BIRTH CERTIFICATE! Where is it obama?
I got the following from conservatives4palin.com, from a survey done by the AP following the Sanford fiasco that was printed in the ADN, the very paper that printed this bullshit article.

Sarah Palin: dope-smokin', straight-shootin' book burner?
Unfortunately, since Palin went directly from local office to the governorship without a stay in the legislature, she has no record of up-and-down votes on legislation to assess. That means no rating from the ACLU, among other things.
These are obviously all weaknesses of obama, and therefore his opponent must be accused of the same. Very predictable obama media tactic.
You can count on the Liberal Anchorage Daily News to be just that, Liberal.
I personally don’t think we need to know about a schedule of a governor. In fact, my Commanding Officer’s schedule is not sent all over the world either. If she promised to be transparent because the last governor was not, this is not our problem, this is something that the Democratic candidate for governor will worry about during 2010 if he/she choses too.
I live in Alaska, I’ve worked alongside Sarah Palin, and the Anchorage Daily News has wrapped many a fish for me.
Perhaps the governor’s attitude would be a little more friendly if media outlets like the Daily News wouldn’t lie, smear, exagerrate, libel, and go far out of their way to ruin the reputation and character of the governor, her husband, and her children. As it is, I’m amazed every day that the governor doesn’t walk into the Daily News offices and slap the editor in the head.
You can believe the Daily News or you can believe your own eyes. That’s how it looks from up here at the treeline.
Are you sure? We know it can whine like a girl and throw a tantrum like a princess.
Maybe they should focus on the character problems of themselves.
Is she cool - or WHAT?
