THERE'S a huge difference between what South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford did, and what ex-New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer did. "I didn't fall in love with any of them," Spitzer was overheard telling LMDC executive director Avi Schick the other day at Solo in the Sony Building on Madi son, where they had the $24 prix-fixe lunch. And Spitzer didn't use any taxpayer money on his trysts, while Sanford is reimbursing the state about $12,000 for travel expenses to Buenos Aires. Schick had Vietnamese beef spring rolls and a grilled chicken salad.

Understand your confusion - just remember that both are politicians so the rest is easy... Government service only attracts the odd-balls, the social out-going, the weirdos, and the just plain ugly (talking about the Democrats here).
So the idea that any politician, Dem or Rep that gets into trouble, well, it’s just either power, money, or sex... anything else is just a coincidence..

You're actually spot on. I don't want to be unfair and extrapolate my experiences to all politicians, but those I have interacted with tended to be insecure people who held themselves in the middle of the universe. Narcissism appears to be highly over-represented among politicians. Worse, is that leftist politicians want to take away your ability to differentiate yourself based on your efforts. They want everyone to be equal, under them. They have never gotten beyond the need to have a gold star placed after their name.
Especially when prosecuting others for the same.
