You notice how Obama is upset by the military enforcing their constitution. Is that a sign of things to come? Could be?
It is economic sabatoge perpatrated by the EPA. All involved should be tried for treason.
Given the amount of ‘silent’ grumblings among many Pentagon and DoD personnel I have meet over the past week, Barry and many Dems might want to start treading water very carefully.
You said to another FReeper poster — Much as I tend to agree with your line of thinking, I cannot help but think that we are all engaging in wishful thinking on the COLB issue.

Yep, wishful thinking....
It’s been going nowhere for a long time, except for generating a lot of comments. It does do that...
Are we all taking notes?
Hmmmmm...
Hmmmm. Interesting concept. The armed forces in charge of supporting and defending the constitution, against ALL enemies, Foreign AND Domestic. Wow! And this occurred where? Not here in the United States of America, but in Honduras. If our SCOTUS gave a similar order I wonder what our current armed forces would do. As a vet I know what I would do.

“Mr Chavez, with more than a decade in power, began his reforms in Venezuela by holding a Constituent Assembly and changing the constitution. Mr Zelaya had stated that he wished to do the same and that the referendum was supposed to be the first step.”
Okay I type slow and you got one more m than me, but it seems we had the same thought at the same time.
Dear G_D,
Hope this trial run works out okay.
We are waiting for your help here in America.
Hope you get here in time.
The real issue is his (claimed/admitted) foreign-allegiance parentage. Even his own web site claims (admits) he was a British Subject at birth -- no matter where he was born...

Obama responds to Honduras coup
@ 11:53 am by Eric Zimmermann
“...Obama issued the following statement on the matter:
“I am deeply concerned by reports coming out of Honduras regarding the detention and expulsion of President Mel Zelaya. As the Organization of American States did on Friday, I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic Charter. Any existing tensions and disputes must be resolved peacefully through dialogue free from any outside interference.”
GMTA!!!
I have friends in Honduras. The President was trying to usurp the Constitution and hold an illegal referendum so he could become President for life. He needed a referendum so he could do away with the Constitutional requirement that he observe term limits (his term is up next year.) So he scheduled an illegal vote, brought in ballots from Venezuela (that was going to be a fair election, LOL), went against the SC and Legislature, fired the army head (which he didn’t have the power to do) and said I’m doing this anyway.
The army legitimately removed him from power, and evidently the succession to the Presidency is going to be followed.
The guy was trying to be the next Chavez or Castro.
And I am confident what this family of vets would do...
I would LOVE to see this happen to Obama.
‘Deeply concerned’ does seem like the only sentiment that Zero knows how to express.
No need to worry. SCOTUS will never issue such an order. In fact, in a constitutional crisis they will not even hear the case.
My impression is that Obama is extremely uneasy with the military, except when it's under the control of pals like Ahmadinejad, Chavez, or Castro.
As far as the US military is concerned, I think he is scared stiff of them.
The General Assembly special session in Lima at which the Democratic Charter was adopted was the reason why United States Secretary of State Colin Powell was absent from his country during the Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001; he cut short his participation at the meeting and departed Lima for Washington, D.C., shortly after midday.[5]
The Carter Center's Americas Program advised the Organization of American States on the development of the document.
