That would be like saying if Canada attacked the U.S......Never happen.....But I for one would like to see it tried (Not the Canada Vs. U.S unless you're talking Stanley Cup). Ground troops would never be allowed access to Panama let alone Nicaragua. Besides, there is only one highway in which to travel thru Panama and Nicaragua.....

Any threat of naval assault would more than likely result in the deployment of U.S. Naval ships down to the Carribbean and strategically placed for "observation purposes only".

But most important of all, Honduras has the most advanced air force in the entire Latin America. Their pilots are U.S. trained and their aircraft have been provided by the U.S.

As a side note, the U.S. has had military trainers in Honduras since the early '80's. I once met a retired Special Forces Colonel at my racquetball club who spent the last 8 years of service in Honduras training their military. One day I brought up the prospect of purchasing property in Honduras and he told me that he had house on a beach down there and his neighbor, a retired Honduran colonel who was now a lawyer, is a good friend of my Brother-in-law's niece, also a lawyer in Honduras.

I'm sure at this point Honduras is saying to Hugo "Bring it on"..........
