You can tell from that photo which ones are the RN Sailors and which one are the Royal Marines....
I believe it was in 1980 when the Iranians seized a building in London. A woman police constable was killed. At that point, the SAS was called in to sort the issue out. I’d be looking out for some rather fit young men turning up in Iran fairly soon.
