I think it is a very lame angle.

Answer me then a few questions.

(1) Do you think Obama wrote Dreams?

(2) If incontrovertible proof could be discovered, that Ayers wrote Dreams, would that be of use to Obama opposition (that is, us)?

(3) Finding this incontrovertible proof doesn't just drop in our laps, it takes digging. Cashill is doing that digging, is he not?

Cashill spells it out in the article. He's pursuing this because he's angry at the derision that people like Chris Matthews heap on the thought of Sarah Palin writing a book.

Those in the MSM are using Obama's teleprompter reading skills, and the book, as evidence of his intelligence in lieu of actual college transcripts and test scores, because they don't have anything else to prove their beliefs.

And yet, they ridicule the thought of Sarah Palin writing a book. That's why it would be important to expose the lie that Obama wrote the one thing that is the basis for his intelligence.
