Whatever the final autopsy results reveal, it was greed that killed Michael Jackson. Had he not been driven by a cabal of bankers, agents, doctors and advisers to commit to the gruelling 50 concerts in Londons O2 Arena, I believe he would still be alive today. During the last weeks and months of his life, Jackson made desperate attempts to prepare for the concert series scheduled for next month a series that would have earned millions for the singer and his entourage, but which he could never have completed, not mentally, and not physically. Michael knew it and his advisers knew it. Anyone who caught even a fleeting glimpse of the frail old man hiding beneath the costumes and cosmetics would have understood that the London tour was madness. For Michael Jackson, it was fatal. I had more than a glimpse of the real Michael; as an award-winning freelance journalist and film-maker, I spent more than five years inside his camp. Many in his entourage spoke frankly to me and that made it possible for me to write authoritatively last December that Michael had six months to live, a claim that, at the time, his official spokesman, Dr Tohme Tohme, called a complete fabrication. The singer, he told the world, was in fine health. Six months and one day later, Jackson was dead. Some liked to snigger at his public image, and it is true that flamboyant clothes and bizarre make-up made for a comic grotesque; yet without them, his appearance was distressing; with skin blemishes, thinning hair and discoloured fingernails. I had established beyond doubt, for example, that Jackson relied on an extensive collection of wigs to hide his greying hair. Shorn of their luxuriance, the Peter Pan of Neverland cut a skeletal figure.

The insurance company will not pay off; the toxicology report will surely say he OD’d. That is a given and the family is trying to buy a 2nd autopsy even though the 1st hasn’t been done yet.
I have a feeling loads of people are in place to make money off his death too.
IMO, there is a whole lot more to this story, hopefully it will all come out.
Did you know about this?

The Nation of Islam threatens Jacko fire sale
“Reassuring news. There is now a Nation of Islam angle to the ongoing story of Michael Jackson’s money woes. As you know, the recovering carousel addict has found himself financially embarrassed since his molestation trial in 2005, and to this end has authorised an auction house to hold a fire sale of the thousands of rhinestone gloves and statues of young boys that comprised Neverland’s fixtures and fittings.
Frankly, though, the saga was dragging a little in what now feels like Act 9, and could have really used a red dickie-bow to liven things up.
Happily, one of Louis Farrakhan’s boys appears to have obliged, as the auctioneer has now filed court papers alleging that he was threatened by a Jackson employee in a Los Angeles fast-food restaurant in February. According to the documents, this Darren Julien was told that Michael had changed his mind about the sale, and, were he to proceed, he would be in danger “from Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam”.
“He told us that [Jackson’s business manager] and Michael Jackson wanted to give the message to us ‘that our lives are at stake and there will be bloodshed,’” the auctioneer declares.”
Yeah, I saw it.
Like I said, he made a deal with the devil.
I wasn’t surprised at all when I saw the headline.
The Michael Jackson stuff is almost too horrifying for belief. His death just reminded us of something we had numbed ourselves too long ago (a dark part of our modern culture).
His music was interesting but between keeping boys in his bed and the surgery you just couldn’t enjoy it. When I was younger I used to think he was white! IT was confusing to watch on tv even if the song and dance was good.
IF he had not altered his face, done drugs or had inappropriate relationships with small children he probaby would have had the reserves to have done those 50 tours. It is a shame that such a weak willed person had the financial ability to destroy himself like he did.
I think he never thought he was good enough to be appreciated without all the nonsense that ruined him. Ironically if he had kept his normal afro features (and behaved better) he probably would have won over even more fans.
I think he died a long time ago really.
On the other hand, if he would've just manned up and said, "NO!", he might also still be alive today.
Most definitely, if what we hear about his parents is true.
on Coast to Coast tonight, some asshat is gonna channel MJ as he has a message for us............yeah....like quit cuttin on my body
I totally agree, and I am very glad that I quit watching Fox when Obama got elected. From what I have understood, Fox, as well as other networks, have been utterly obsessed with this person since he died. If he was so great, why did no-one celebrate his life while he was alive? What is this ghoulish obsession with dead, idiotic celebrities?
If he hadn't been so greedy and materialistic himself he could have told his bankers and agents to take a leap while he got help from real doctors and advisers for his physical and mental problems. Bankers don't control you when you have large deposits, only when you have large debts. The bankers just wanted what was theirs. Nobody forced him to build an amusement in his yard or all the other things he did to fritter away hundreds of millions.
I think his defining characteristic (other than his talent) was being weak-willed. He definitely was not strong or secure enough to be in show business.
I get the impression he surrounded himself with users and allowed them to allow him to run himself into the ground. Its hard to say how much was what he did vs what was egged on by the people around him.
You know I think he had a very flawed character but it is sad. When you see those pics of him before fame got to him you can’t help but feel sad for his horrible bizarro life.
He would have been better off doing anything but show business. If it’s true his parents pushed him into it unmercifully I hope they feel guilty.
I don't either. But nobody ever seems to, so I just take it on faith that I wouldn't either, no matter how appealing that thought seems from where I stand now. It's the Spores episode of Star Trek. We're meant to toil and struggle. We atrophy and get bored if we don't.
Jacko atrophied anyway.
I’d rather be fishing.
What is the possibility that Nation of Islam killed him to increase the value of his collectibles ?
I guess you won't really know until you're free to fish all you want.
Seems likely enough.
Ever been in an arab store?
Those pious folks have no problem with selling alcohol, cigarettes, pornography, drug paraphernalia, all at huge markups to the kaffirs.
I’m not saying its so, but nothing would shock me.
true enough.
He’ll probably make more money dead than alive. They usually do!
Pure spin to try to protect MJ's image. His PR people made Baghdad Bob look truthful in comparison.
It’s unbelievable...the whole story of Michael Jackson is like a bizarre nightmare...from beginning to end...The horrible father, the monkey, the elephant man, Lisa Marie Presley, the boys, the plastic surgery, the glove, the feuds, the money, the kids, the surrogates...it’s just the strangest tale....and a very sad one indeed.
