The whole premise of this bill is fallacious. There is no Global Warming, and until the world runs out of oil, gas, coal and nuclear, those energy sources will be cheaper than alternatives. Where is the security in that?
Since the majority of the American people support the Democtrats, how will it ever get fixed?
If enough Democrats were to see the light to leave the anti-American side, I still want to know how we would fix it. Once these things make it into law, they just eat away at the engine forever.
I would like to see those eight Republicans lose in 2010.
Pelosi should not only be drummed out of Congress; she should be jailed for getting a bill voted on that doesn’t really exist.

This isn’t about the enviroment, it’s about CASHING IN and inserting more gov’t control on out lives.
GE (which ownes “green energy” technology and plants) stands to make between one to two TRILLION DOLLARS in government contracts if this legislation comes to fruition.
It’s a perfect scam. GE owns NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC. They, and their co-horts in the MSM (remember ABC’s “Earth 2100” and other eco-disaster films/documentaries) generate a crisis, scares the public, pass out the lobby checks, supports the “green” movement and presto...gov’t steps in with a sweeping cap-n-trade bill.
GE, and other companies, make money while gov’t gets more control over the populace.....BRILLIANT.
Even a Ferengi would be impressed.
