“Energy” I understand, but “security”? Security for whom? Security against what?

“Global warming”? So now the House is protecting us against the climate? Ha!

Evil foreign oil dealers? Let me tell you, cap and trade is not the solution. You can’t get rid of our dependence by forcing us not to use what we want—nay, need. That creates a whole new, worse, problem (called poverty). Cure worse than the disease.

How many laws are there that prevent the leftist aka progressive treehuggers from investing their own money into alternate sources of energy?

Are there any laws that prevent the leftist aka progressive treehuggers from starting a car company to make green cars that they want?
So why force other auto makers to do this? If there is a market for them these companies would be making them.
