She was talking about the census being used to round up Japanese Americans during WWII
I’d like to see someone do an on-the-street interview with passersby - something like this:
“Excuse me sir, are you aware that a radical Republican representative is refusing to complete the census because she thinks it could be used by the government to round up people and put them in concentration camps?”
“Oh, yeah, right - those radical conservatives..those people are crazy, man!”
“Sir, are you aware that the government ALREADY HAS used the census to round up people and put them in concentration camps?”
“What??”
“Are you aware that the government ALREADY HAS used the census to round up people and put them in concentration camps?”
“No way, man...you must be one of those freaking idiots as well...”
The morons have no concept of their own county’s history, so we live in fishbowl of ignorance. Ah yes, American education...financed by the taxpayers...run by the government....Next up: Healthcare!
That was an addendum to her comments about the govt. attempting to garner information on yours and mine households.
Lets put it into perspective shall we? Anything you say on your Census Questionaire may be held against you which ultimately was in the case of domestic Japanese during WW-II.......Kinda like a Miranda Questionaire.......
Could any kind of govt. response to this gathered info be used against you and me? I don't know but after this past 150 days there is nothing this current administration had done that doesn't send shivers of fear up my spine...........
