One more good reason to Repeal the 17th Amendment and reinstate Article 1, Section 3 of the US Constitution. THEN, the Senate would be chosen by their respective State Legislatures and be answerable to them. And lobbyists would "pee their pants." And WE The People, Would ROFLMAO!

And while we're at it, let's make Congress a Part Time Job with NO benefits. That way, there will be no "career politicians."
