Makhmoudenijad Again Criticizes Obama Over Election Remarks

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeated his criticism of U.S. President Barack Obama and says the United States is interfering in Iran's affairs.

The official IRNA news agency on Saturday quoted the Iranian leader as saying Mr. Obama talks about change, but continues to interfere in Iran's state matters.

On Friday, President Obama called post-election violence against protesters in Iran "outrageous." He also said any direct dialogue or diplomacy with Iran will be affected by the recent events.

Iran's Foreign Ministry also denounced a statement from the Group of Eight industrialized countries deploring the violence in Iran and urging Iran to respect human rights and free speech. A spokesman for the ministry, Hasan Qashqavi, was quoted by Iran's state-run IRNA news agency as accusing the G8 of intervening, and making "hasty remarks."

The massive street demonstrations that took place following the disputed election have mostly subsided after hundreds of arrests and a continuing heavy police presence.

The official death toll from violence since the disputed June 12 vote is 17, but witnesses say it is much higher.

Iran's crackdown has included heavy restrictions on reporting and the arrest of dozens of university professors, dissidents, journalists and ordinary citizens.

A report published Saturday by the pro-government Fars news agency says police in Tehran seized a building that was operating as a campaign center for an unnamed presidential candidate. According to the report, police claim the building was being used as a "command center for psychological warfare against Iran's national security."

Fars also reported Saturday that the head of defeated presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi's information office, Abolfazl Fateh, was banned from leaving Iran due to his involvement in post-election activities. Fateh is a doctorate student in Britain.

On Friday, in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, angry protesters threw stones and rushed the gates of the Iranian Embassy. The official IRNA news agency reported Saturday that Iran summoned Swedish Ambassador Magnus Werndstedt in response to what it called a "terrorist attack" that injured an embassy employee.

this between omomma and the other nutjob (who share almost identical points of view re America) is mere theatre for public consumption......the lefty and “liberal” americans remaining mostly quiet (lefty press must go thru perfunctory squawking, though, for appearances sake) about it is the tipoff............omomma’s only problem is that he had to hedge his bet on the outcome and he (and his masters) are now not sure how to walk him back from the hedge....

The lesson is when Barry makes conciliatory remarks to avowed enemies of the U.S, it only hands them a brickbat by which Barry (and the USA) will then be hammered.

Ahmadinijad has a point. Obama’s last election was ripe with fraud thanks to Acorn, dead people voting, votes found in trunks of cars, denying servicemen votes because of glitches in absentee ballots, many people voting more than once, etc.........and to top it off Obama never proved he was a natural born citizen of the US.
