I pretty much agree.
It is why I am calling my property in Kentucky “Galt’s Plateau”.
Like Galt, I do not expect to change it. I expect it to collapse of it’s own weight. It is quite inevitable. But then comes the cleanup.
But let’s be frank here. Life is a mist. As a Christian I have more imprtant things on my mind than what particular country survives a particular moment in history. Countries come and go. This one had a pretty good run.

Quite So! But in the mean time you have to defend yourself from their "secret" police forces which they will have to establish.
In the last few months so many thing will be happening simultaneously that the medias will be unable to keep track of them all. You will know that time by the fact that people will be abandoning their jobs, hiding in their houses. People will be beyond panic and would be defending themselves instead.
We are not there yet but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel - so to speak. I can't tell how far off that light is but it is bright and getting brighter quickly.
PS. You are always welcome at Galt's Gulch and I reckon - at Galt's Plateau!
