Thirty plus Tennesseans volunteered, fought and died at the Alamo.
My father & husband enlisted (WWII & Viet Nam)....because they love their country.....
..they came home....many didn't.
What did they fight for if we give up?
...I am sick and tired of being sick and tired!
I join you Cripplecreek!
9 Kentucky counties are named after Kentucky volunteers who were among the nearly 400 who died here in Michigan in the war of 1812. If Michigan was worth Kentuckians to fight and die for, its damn sure worth my fighting for it.
During Reconstruction after the last Civil War my ancestors were burned out of Alabama. They wound up in Texas.
If the “left” thinks that we will roll over an play dead they are Wrong.
And at least our neighbors to the North (OK) will be there with us. (I am not a football fan)

In addition to the thirty plus Tennesseans who volunteered, fought and died at the Alamo and those who fought for our country, you had another fine group of patriots we need to remember and learn from: The Battle of Athens, TN (August 2, 1946).
