“Face it, if there was a birth certificate it has long ago been destoyed”

At one point during the election runup, I could swear the Republican(?) governor of Hawaii claimed to have viewed the original vault copy, and it was legit. Related article:

My take is he is a citizen, but his religion was listed as “Muslim” on the BC. If it had come out, it might have tilted the election, but it wouldn’t be grounds for removing him.

What’s the deal with Lingle?

Someone from Hi. made a statement that was ambiguous like

.. i have seen and can verify that a long form exists ...

but hey didn’t say if it was from Hawaii or another place.
Obama’s own lawyers said that he did not want his birth certificate released because it held an “embarrassing” item on it.

The main issue is really about his father though not being an American. That in itself disqualifies him from the office and should be what is being attacked in court.
specifically each State court since each secretary of state had the responsibility of checking his eligibility but they didn’t.

If you can get this heard in every state and then reverse the decisions to put him on the ballot, then you have an illegal election process that has to be done over.
he is gone.

No Hawaiian official has ever said that the BC shows birth anywhere in the United States, only that the original is on file per Hawaiian Law.

The same law that specifically allows a child born anywhere in the world to have a Hawaiian birth certificate.

Birth certificates do not list religious affiliation.
