The House just called up and began to debate the global warming bill. Waxman is waxing forth, blathering about "job growth" out of both sides of his mouth. But what is on TV: Michael Jackson (entertainment) and Governor Sanford's (titillation) cabinet meeting. BO making nice with Angela Merkel (Yerkel and Merkel). Even Fox is ignoring the nuts and bolts dismantling of our country and our economy today?
Thanks, Fox. I expected better of you. Who in the world is calling the shots at the remaining legitimate cable news channel? Where are the adults? Why am I having to watch CSPAN? I watched the Russian news on Mhz today and THEY had more on the climate bill than our news channels have.

Cap and Trade is really Tax and Control for every aspect of human activity. It will be the final nail in the coffin of American liberty.
For those who are unfamiliar with it, some agency (probably the EPA) will decide how much carbon is going to be created by any activity. For example you have a manufacturing business and each wigit requires x amount of energy, they will tell you how many you can make. If you want to make more, you must buy carbon credits from an exchange. Or since plowing a field results in carbon dioxide being released from the ground, you will need carbon credits for each acre plowed. So a farmer might need 10 credits to plow all his land but only be allocated 5. He needs to then buy more. Or he can plant nothing, and sell his credits on an exchange. In effect they have created a new commodity out of thin air, created a huge new tax, and total government control of everything.
There is also a wealth transfer component of the plan. Supposedly every person who makes less than 30k per year will get a direct cash subsidy from the government, on the proposition that they use less carbon that rich people. That’s how the RATS hope to buy support. Of course people won’t realize how much the increased cost of everything they buy is due to this scheme.
Finally, these exchanges will take a cut from every trade of credits. Those investors are set to make untold billions from this. Among the largest early investors in these exchange businesses is...Al Gore. What a shock.
Yep. Not only can we say good-bye to barely affordable electricity and fuel, we can say good-bye to affordable food, too.

There are many pieces of the “disassemble America” puzzle. In the Great Lakes region we have a czar now, or we soon will, whose job it will be to implement EPA regs. This is the last thing we need. Here in Michigan we’re pushing 15% unemployment in the first place. Then, most of the state, including our lakes, is pretty much pristine. We have significant amount of farm land, which will be regulated to the point of nonexistence, no doubt. What does all this mean? What industry we have will go, right along with agriculture, and we’ll not be able to attract anything new. Anyone who believes one iota of this legislation is good for the country is seiously fooling themselves.
Makes me wonder if Michael Jackson’s doctor was in Rahm Emanuel’s circle of friends.
Now..., don’t forget this mandatory video documentary... :-)
It’s one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but it’s quite *another* to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...
THEREFORE..., it’s also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply *one* video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the *one*...

Well, once again, I’ll give Drudge credit. He has deep sixed Michael Jackson, for the moment at least, and is headlining Nancy Pelosi and the climate retard bill.

Congress will go down in flames if this or any other bills Obama wants is passed. Regardless of what the people want; Congress will go. The MSM will go too.
