God told Farah Fawcett yesterday that she had been such a good angel, she could have any wish she wanted, so she said “I want all children to be safe”.....Poof, Michael Jackson was dead.

Well, that’s not my assertion, but the honorific is certainly the same. The famous Madonna & Child icons are also pretty similar to idols of Isis (Ashteroth) & her child Horus, from Egyptian Mythology.

It was a joke. I saw the title and it intrigued me as I knew not what it meant. Best wishes to you and yours.

Your post makes the most sense. While I believe there are quuestionable characters in DC, I sincerely doubt Watson was talking about some ancient diety or demon.

But Diane Watson said "ad astra", not Ashteroth. She was trying to quote Virgil, "sic itur ad astra", meaning, "thus you shall go to the stars". Rep. West predictably muffs not just the quote, but the pronunciation, as well Your comment does make the most sense. Let US HOPE you are right!
