Washington, D.C., June 26, 2009The Competitive Enterprise Institute is today making public an internal study on climate science which was suppressed by the Environmental Protection Agency. Internal EPA email messages, released by CEI earlier in the week, indicate that the report was kept under wraps and its author silenced because of pressure to support the Administrations agenda of regulating carbon dioxide. The report finds that EPA, by adopting the United Nations 2007 Fourth Assessment report, is relying on outdated research and is ignoring major new developments. Those developments include a continued decline in global temperatures, a new consensus that future hurricanes will not be more frequent or intense, and new findings that water vapor will moderate, rather than exacerbate, temperature.
New data also indicate that ocean cycles are probably the most important single factor in explaining temperature fluctuations, though solar cycles may play a role as well, and that reliable satellite data undercut the likelihood of endangerment from greenhouse gases. All of this demonstrates EPA should independently analyze the science, rather than just adopt the conclusions of outside organizations.

Agree. the celebrity madness is nearly complete in the US. All regular news was replaced by total MJ coverage last night. Fox (Shep Smith) was saying that MJ was the best known person on the planet. Even the business channels more heavily covered MJ than the markets. The personality cult/celebrity personality mania is why we have Dear Leader as President. They won't admit it, but MJ's death will be viewed as a great gift to those pushing global warming, the health system government take over, appeasement of IRAN and on and on.
Congress will NOT read this, their minds are already made up and the fix is in.

Sent and bump.
Even Fox is doing a disservice today acting like the MSM. All day it has been Michael Jackson. Who cares for one and there are more important things for sure.
“....I predict that the backlash will be tremendous.”

What did Obongo know and when did he know it?
100% AGAINST THE BILL.
I wonder if Michael Jackson’s doctor a friend of Rahm Emanuel?
Just called Larry Kissels office. said he’s voting against.
I doubt these two will be swayed by the fact that a Yes vote in the face of this information will make them a knowing part of an attempted fraud on the people of the United States.
Lucky you .. My senator Schumer is unable to read or make logical decisions.
