Good for her! That is exactly what she should be concerned with. His demons, whatever they are, are his to fix, as are whatever resentment those precious boys feel toward him, which is inevitable. He will have to deal with them as well.

Mr. Sanford’s apologies started at the mistress and then worked their way down the list to the children and then to the wife. Whatever their marriage was, it would appear that it is unlikely to continue.

I was thinking the same thing. What I have been reading and seeing the last few days makes it very clear. The voters of SC should dump him and put her in the office. She is a class act, smart and principled.
