CNN: Jenny Sanford said Thursday that her husband Mark Sanford's political career is "not a concern of mine" and that she'd be just fine — whether or not their marriage survived. "His career is not a concern of mine," she told reporters as she departed the family's vacation home in Sullivans Island, South Carolina. "He's going to have to worry about that. I'm worried about my family and the character of my children."

Good for her! That is exactly what she should be concerned with. His demons, whatever they are, are his to fix, as are whatever resentment those precious boys feel toward him, which is inevitable. He will have to deal with them as well.

Mr. Sanford’s apologies started at the mistress and then worked their way down the list to the children and then to the wife. Whatever their marriage was, it would appear that it is unlikely to continue.
