I haven't said where I am on Rick Warren. You said he was a “leading advocate of one world religion, “Chrislam”. All I asked you was if you had concrete evidence of this. You've said he is “postmodern” and no longer believes that objective truth exists. You said he is a “slick California motivation psychologist”. You said Warren has watered down Biblical truth and the gospel to “appeal to the postmodern mindset”.
Can you give exact source references where Rick Warren has done or said the things you claim? And, you still haven't given any evidence regarding your claim that Warren is now advocating a Christian-Muslim combo faith (at least that's what I assume you mean by “Christ-lam”). I'm not accusing you of anything, nor am I defending Rick Warren. I'm just asking you for specific, sourced references to back-up what you say about Warren. I really want to know if what you are saying is true about him. That's all.
I refer you to post 63: I think Warren’s theology is weak, his stances are compromising, and his “flavor” of christianity is nauseatingly insipid.
My sentiments of Warren and his “purpose driven” theology are derived from my reading of one of his books. I read enough to know where he is coming from. Not only so, but the sentiments of conservative Christians everywhere confirmed my original impressions - they are obvious on this thread.
Now, if that isn’t a good enough answer for you, I’m sorry.
As I have said, all Warren has to do to change my opinion would be for him to give a good witness of the gospel at this assembly of Muslims. We’ll see.
