It’s ALSO one of the OTHER NAMES for GOA! The Sassinid kings are all dead ~ Fort Shapur is still there.

I think that there are quite a few Spainish families who still maintain their Persian heritage. I knew one who still follows Zoroastrianism and said that his family has lived in the hills of Spain for centuries. Oddly, before he told us that, someone had claimed that he spoke Spanish with a kind of Middle Eastern accent.
