Thanks. Now the question in relation to the Seattle records remains - why did the letter of confirmation refer to Stanley Ann Dunham and not Stanley Ann Dunham Obama as on the WND document:
Ms. Stanley Ann Dunham was enrolled at the University of Washington for:
Autumn 1961
Winter 1962
Spring 1962
The records responsive to your request from the University of Washington are above as provided by the Public Disclosure Laws of Washington State. This concludes the Universitys response to your Public Records request. Please feel free to contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.

NB. ON THE BOTTOM RHS SEE: EXTENSION CORRESPONDENCE COURSES.
In the lower right you can see the dates that they sent copies of the transcript to U Hawaii in the 70s. She was divorced from Obama by that point, so maybe they updated their records to reflect the name change (but then, why no Soetoro?). Or maybe that’s just how the registrar decided to write her name in the letter he sent to the person who made the FOIOA request.
Regarding extension & correspondence, you’ll see the courses listed there are “X” not “C” courses, i.e. extension not correspondence. That implies she had some level of interaction on campus to take those courses and they weren’t entirely done via the mail.
