At least as far as US grads go it’s probably true. India has a University more demanding than MIT. Think about that.

But they graduate about 300K engineers a year in India. How many do you think went to that school? About 1/3 of the India grads are not ready to work and need additional training around project management, basic work skills, language, or technical needs that take them a year or two to get after graduation. They are, however, very enthusiastic and motivated.

More demanding then MIT what a load....Many can barely speak English.
