Maybe if these pols’ wives would make it clear to their meal tickets...er, spouses, that adultery was a deal breaker, that might help their menfolk find some self-control, if not some decency.

I agree with you, but you and I both know what would happen- they would drop her and move on to someone more permissive. So many of these political marriages are marriages of convenience and not love. I feel sorry for their kids.
