Good riddance Mark “John Edwards” Sanford. I wonder how long before his “love child” surfaces?

My first impression on the news is that the Barack-Rahm attack machine (loaded with PIs, etc to dig up dirt) have achieved their goal in "getting" their man. Wasn't he the first to turn down the stimulus and be a vocal opponent to it?

I certainly don't condone any such behavior, but the press coverage compared to Edwards is non-existent.

And isn't it convenient that it comes in a week not good for Obama: Iran, economy, health care infomercial.

Which means that pretty much any time Obama has a bad week, a Republican is going to be exposed? How much dirt does Emanuel have to have on everyone in order to go to his files and say, "Hmm, my boss is having a bad week. What Republican is misbehaving? Oh look, Sanford's in Argentina with his girlfriend."

People here are overreacting. It maybe a hit to the Republican base because we wanted to see Mark in a higher office, but let's face it. Outside of Republican circles Mark isn't even a blip on the radar screen. Rome is literally burning.
