I disagree, unless Palin can “reinvent” her persona a bit, which, admittely, there is time for her to do.
I know a LOT of women who love Palin, but I know a lot of women who voted for Bush both times, who can’t stand Palin, because they think she resembles the very type of woman they hate.
Not saying they SHOULD feel this way, but they DO and they’ll vote in accordance. If we can’t get as many women to vote for Palin as did for Bush, we lose.
I agree that a lot of moderate Republican women dislike Palin.
However, three years of high oil prices, inflation, and high unemployment, will tend to concentrate minds wonderfully.
Palin will be fine. Remember, last time she had to run as McCain’s attack dog, so she couldn’t run as herself. When she runs as who she is, she does fine.
Two years from now, oil prices are going to be north of $120.00 a barrell. Palin is going to look like the prophet from Alaska.
Best,
Chris.
So it is petty jealousy then...that's not an attractive trait in a conservative woman either. This is not a teenage competition for Homecoming Queen, they need to f-ing grow up.
I know three conservative women in my office that voted twice for GW Bush but all three voted for nObama precisely because they cant stand Sarah Palin. They think she is too religious and preachy.
