One reason that Romney is despised among conservatives is because for months he spread a bald faced lie that Reagan was "adamantly pro-choice", it isn't true and it was never true but now it lives on the internet forever.

Play a game with yourself and search everywhere for quotes, speeches and writings of Ronald Reagan promoting, or discussing, or declaring, or admitting, or hinting or anything where he portrays himself as being pro abortion.

We know about the 1967 bill but Reagan was never pro abortion and Romney always was, during all of the decades following RoevWade and the Reagan years Mitt was abortion for the 35 years after abortion became a national issue.
