It certainly is an interesting story from a pathogenic point of view, have you come across anything similar elsewhere?

These are the extreme cytokine responses, I think, that many younger people/adults will need to be observed for.
This response is well documented in the excellent article you posted me earlier in the week. Also, from reading tons of documents about this on the web, and from medical journal feeds, it's sounding plausible that these aggressive cytokine responses in some people when exposed, is going to be the most important factor in serious complications during this whole outbreak.

This could also go some way at the moment, to explain some of the drastic differences in symptoms across patients, some people are simply designed to succumb, maybe genetically to this virus, whilst others have little issues with it.

The other issue that's relative here is the response from vaccinations boosted with squalene adjuvants, which can trigger these responses also, when immature and/or susceptible body defences are exposed to a virus, and chemicals, that characteristically trigger an aggressive reaction to the presence in the host body.

This virus is proving to be an enigma for many reasons, notwithstanding it's dubious origins, but simply explaining, say this Girls' reaction, and someone who didn't even have days off work when infected.

I think Smokers should be very cautious, this could hit Smokers hard, seeing the way this affected my Friends Hubby in his lungs, and the difference in how it affected Her was drastic, and smoking was the only obvious variable between 2 healthy, twenty-somethings. That is one statistic they should quantify, how many serious affected patients are smokers.

THE EMEA PROVIDES DISCLOSURE

Over the weekend, a gentleman in Belgium sent a very interesting e-mail. He had finally succeeded in getting a document from the European Medicines Agency (EMEA -the European Union's equivalent of America's FDA) that listed the basic ingredients in the primary "pandemic flu" vaccine being purchased for Europe GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) PANDEMRIX vaccine. This EMEA Document is very, very revealing.

The vaccine consists of:

Active Substance: Pandemic influenza vaccine (H5N1) (split virion, inactivated, adjuvanted) A/VietNam/1194/2004 NIBRG-14.

Clearly, this is BIRD FLU vaccine, with the isolated antigen being the VietNam killer bird flu virus that has exhibited such a high mortality rate amongst victims in that country. The problem is, according to the WHO, the pandemic flu threatening Europe and the world is not a BIRD FLU (H5N1) virus at all, but is a "Novel" Swine Flu (H1N1) virus. How is it possible that such a specific BIRD FLU VACCINE would give any immune protection to a "Novel" Swine Flu "pandemic" virus?

It would seem that GSK is trying to unload stockpiles of its "Avian Pandemic Flu" vaccine by disguising it as a generic "Pandemic" vaccine under the name "PANDEMRIX"!! Why is the EMEA allowing this to happen? Will the FDA follow the EMEA's lead and allow "Pandemrix" bird flu viruses to be shot into millions of school children in America? Or will it be only Novartis or Novavax vaccines allowed in America? When will Americans be given FULL DISCLOSURE OF THE LABELING, and the COMPANIES UNDER CONTRACT?? More here

Queen cancels school visit over swine flu outbreak

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II cancelled a visit to one of the country’s top schools due to a suspected outbreak of swine flu there, Buckingham Palace said on Wednesday.

She had been due to open a new sports hall at Gordonstoun School in northeast Scotland, where her husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, and children including eldest son and heir Prince Charles were educated.

But the visit scheduled for next Tuesday was cancelled on the suggestion of the school.

“At the request of the principal of Gordonstoun School following a suspected outbreak of the H1N1 virus (swine flu), with regret the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have postponed a visit to the school,” said a royal spokeswoman.

Britain is the worst hit country in Europe by the A(H1N1) virus, a global pandemic which the World Health Organisation says has killed 2,837 people around the world since it emerged in Mexico in April.
