Perhaps the good people of South Carolina should be allowed to answer whether he ought resign now. They elected him and it is they as well he has shown treachery toward. I was ‘foolish’ enough to defend the man before he was proven guilty. I don’t have to apologize for that defense, but I do find him to be a rather despicable scum for his behavior.

to get him to resign. Didn’t work for us here in NJ.
