i am a lawyer, but the court of public opinion is not a court of law. the mere appearance of impropriety is enough to convict in the court of public opinion. and that court is the one the politician has to be worried about.

What impropriety ? We don’t know the facts, only what the media tells us, and all they’ve told us is a bunch of different things. They’re just throwing whatever they can at the wall to see what will stick. And the lynch mob is doing their part right here.
